Alternate Metals

Tungsten carbide rings are made from the chemical compound tungsten and carbon atoms. Before a tungsten ring is made, it begins in powder form and then is pressed together to form the desired shape. Tungsten rings have become a popular ring of choice because of their hardness and high scratch resistance.

Keep in mind due to the high scratch resistance, tungsten rings are not able to be re-sized, and if you need a different size, a new ring needs to be purchased. Tungsten rings with an inlay or plating can discolor or be damaged more easily than natural gray tungsten rings. If your tungsten ring is damaged, there is no way to repair it, and a new ring must be purchased.

Damascus Steel is made by forging two different kinds of stainless steel together by folding and twisting the metals. No two rings have the same pattern making each Damascus Steel ring one of a kind! Damascus steel rings are also non-repairable and non-sizable. A new ring must be purchased to place it.
