Our Story

Princess Bride Diamonds is a family-owned jewelry company with deep roots in craftsmanship, dedication, and tradition. Founded by Transito (Tito) and Lisa Baca, our story began in the early 1980s when Tito first started selling jewelry at the La Mirada swap meet. Lisa, originally from Cambodia, grew up immersed in the jewelry business, learning the craft from her family. Her journey took a dramatic turn when she fled Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime, ultimately settling in Los Angeles, where her family rebuilt their jewelry business in the LA Jewelry District. Tito and Lisa met while doing business in the heart of LA’s jewelry scene—Lisa as a vendor and Tito as a jeweler who had transitioned from swap meets to a kiosk at the Stonewood Mall. Together, they combined their expertise, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit to establish Goldmine Jewelers in 1992 and later Princess Bride Diamonds in 2006. What started as a small business has since evolved into a trusted name in fine jewelry, serving generations of clients both locally and online.
